When I started reading her book- I found myself drawn into it from the very first page. Yes, little ghosts- I do believe there are such a thing. No not all can see or communicate with them. Those that can not will think that those that can are crazy and have lost their minds.
This is the story of one little girl growing up in the bayou. And all of her little friends that she had along the way. She called them her "the Ghosts". Her family though her strange and ignored her entire life. Her mother never showed or said "I love you, or even Happy Birthday". The only one who ever paid any attention to her was the maid and for her birthday one year she made and gave her a giz giz to keep the evil spirits away.
Little Ghosts is a very fast read -once you start reading it . You don't are so wrapped up on init that before you realize it you have finished it before you know you it. Ms Borsellino has done such an excellent job is telling this story you feel like you are right there with her characters in their life and scenes of the story.
With Little Ghosts I felt so drawn and so much apart of the story that I was truly at awe with the writers talents, imagination and creativity. I recommend this book to all readers.
