I rec'd an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest opinion of her book. Here is mousieys honest opinion of "Body". But first let me say "Thank you " for allowing me to read your exciting and tremendous book!! This is the very first time that I have ever read anything any books from this author. And she has a way to draw you in from the very first page!! It is totally amazing.
Her characters are so real- she makes them real life. The scenes are so clear that you are able to picture them in your mind an believe that you are there.
Now mousiey asks that you grab a cup hot chocolate a nibble or two and of course take a seat; while I tell you some about "Body". As you are going to love it!!
As our story starts we meet Gillian and Chase in the bar at the motel. Gillian had gone their to had to have a glass of wine to spurge. She was tried from her trip. (Gillian is also the Fundraising Manager for Safe Haven. Tomorrow she has a meeting with the board of directors of the Safe Haven Foundation.) While she is sitting at the bar a man comes up an ask Sam for another and tells him she will to He says "Yes , Mr Davis". Gillian then ask if he has been there before. Chase tells her that he owns the hotel and it is important for hi to check on his investments.Gillian goes back to her room and gets a call from her roommate Ria. She proceeds to tell her that she met a man. The next morning while exercising on the treadmill my foot slips and Chase rushes to catch her. He then asks her out to dinner and she tells him just drinks and accepts. Then she goes back to her room and gets ready for her meeting and goes down stairs and meets her boss, Taye Jefferson. When they get to the meeting she finds out that the Chairmen of The Board of Directors is Chase Davis. He is impressed with her information. Now lets skip some. They get to know each other an begin dating -he meets her friends. But all of a sudden someone stalker her. Now this is where mousiey is gonna leave you . But with these questions...
Does Chase and Gillian get together?? Do they find out who the stalker is and stop that person?? And do all her bff's find love?? There are a lot of twist and turns in this story. You really need to read this one for yourself. There is so much more to it than what I have said. I recommend this book for those over the age of 18. And give it a rating of 20 out of 5 stars.
